Been on the road now for 7hrs and have just past Hannover. Only 350km to go to Frankfurt. And it's HOT! Puh!;-)

Sweden's National Day

On June 6th we celebrate Sweden and all things Swedish. We also raise the flag and wear funny Sweden t-shirts. And if you become a Swedish national, they parade you in the local park and stick a flag in your hand to wave. I've not got that far yet, so they'll just have to do with me wearing the t-shirt! ;-))

Christel entered a competition on Gevalia's website and WON! So a huge box arrived yesterday with shed loads of java. The funny thing is that we don't drink that much of the stuff! LOL! The prize also included Laila Lindholm's "A Piece Of Cake" cook book, hehe! :-p

Now, if only we could win the lottery ;-))

Vårslaget Ängelholm GC - First Prize

After a very hard fought battle and a blistering last 9 holes at only 2 over par I won my first competition of the year! I've never played so well in my life and it feels so great after all the training and hard work I've put in. So I came home, much to Christel's delight, with a very nice bamboo plant and pot worth 1000kr :-D

3 Years In Sweden - Anniversary

It's 3 years today since I moved to Sweden and after a great round of golf and a bit of work in the garden I'm now kicking back in the conservatory with Billy & Thyme. Not that they're too fussed about celebrating anything. They're just glad that they don't have to repeat the 10hr car journey again!! ;-)
