Skåneleden - Torekov to Båstad

And we're off! It's a gorgeous sunny day, 17deg C and hardly no wind. Only 18km to go......still smiling!

OOooooh lovely jubbly!!

Follow the orange markings for the Skåneleden paths.

Lieutenant Hansson leads the way. Left right left right......

Even the cows posed for photos

After 2 hours we reached Hovs Hallar and stopped for a spot of lunch and a nice glass of red.

Someone had their eye on our chocolates!!!!!

It's a looooong way down, which isn't surprising as it was a looooong way up!!

Looking down onto a pebble beach

Then we left the coastal path to head into some woods

.....where we saw a little snake!

Group photo....unfortunately not all of us were looking at the camera.....ahem! ;-)))

Here we reached the highest point at Knösen (Haga) after getting lost in the woods half way up. Pleased, VERY pleased to have reached the top!!

When out on long hikes it's important to stretch :-p

....as well as keep your energy levels up

After 5 hours we were still at it. And oh how nice it was to walk on asphalt! Had to take a photo of the sign.

Almost there. Anette and Annika race across the meadow. We went at a more leisurely pace :-p
We reached Norrviken after 6 hours. I'm totally knackered but had a fab day, despite wanting to cry on my way up to Knösen!!!
