2007 Solheim Cup - Halmstad, Sweden
Laura, Laura, Laura!! My golfing hero, Laura Davies, gets ready to tee off in the Fourball with Becky Brewerton. We were worried that we wouldn't get to see her play as she didn't play in the morning and due to the delays, we weren't sure that the second round of Fourballs would start!
We followed Laura and Becky's ball and they played exceptionally. A dream to watch!

2007 Solheim Cup - Halmstad, Sweden
Large crowds at the short par 3 13th hole made it difficult for either of us to see, and Christel is over 6ft!

2007 Solheim Cup - Halmstad, Sweden
Yesterday we went to watch the second round of the Solheim Cup in Halmstad. WHAT an atmosphere! Play was delayed for 2hrs in the morning due to the heavy winds, which more or less continued for the rest of the day, but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Armed with our European flag, we hopped and jumped and cheered on the European Team!

Fjärrvärme
We're getting fjärrvärme installed this week. For those who don't know what "fjärrvärme" is, it's central heating pumped in directly from the powerstation. The hot water left over from the cooling towers when generating electricity is pumped through the town, providing hot water and central heating for those who want it. Our old oil-powered heating system leaves us with a huge carbon footprint and so we wanted a more "greener" home.
The installation will take all week.

Ängelholm's National Ladies Day Tournament
I'm really chuffed after today's victory at Ängelholm GC in the National Ladies Day Tournament, especially as I've not been feeling well the past couple of days and the weather was absolutely awful. I do love my golf! Shame the season is now coming to an end.
