Fluffa: A Bundle of Energy

7 months old and full of cheek. We're staying at Christel's brother's house for a week as of tomorrow to look after the "zoo" (birds, cats, dogs and horses) while they go sunning themselves on the French riviera.

Cherry Tree Cottage

I've done a little photo album with house pics for those who have yet to feast their eyes on Cherry Tree Cottage. An old lady lives there at the moment, which is why the décor is very oldy worldy but it's the perfect little project for us with plenty of expansion opportunities to keep us occupied for a few years!

A gloating golf moment

Feeling inspired after watching all the Augusta action this weekend I decided to venture out onto the golf course this afternoon. Here's my shot from the tee at the 9th today. 180metres with my Big Bertha 5 Wood into a very stiff headwind! I birdied the hole, which is nothing other than a miracle for me considering this is an index 1 hole (the hardest hole on the course for those of you not into all the golfy stuff)
So I'm feeling pretty well chuffed at the moment, and feel that my Big Bertha purchase was well worth every Swedish crown! :-D

Fluffa's mum came along to Christel's parents house today for an Easter smörgåsbord. It's always nice to have pets that match the rug ;-)

Mo-less post

OMG where'da photo go in this post? I'll give you a clue, there isn't one! So I'm lying here in bed (already before 21hr just because I was tired of the sofa) and I'm watching "A Day In The Life of Melissa Etheridge" on DVD and I'm thinking, "my god, what if I'd become a rock star and had to live that life?!" Well for a start I would be completely delusional as I have no talent whatsoever, but let's say that I could make a Fender sing at a few flicks of my fingers and that my voice had a rough rawness about it like Melissa. Just think of all the lights, the fame, the fortune, the endless amounts of praise and criticism and......ok ok, I give in, I admit that am happy in my regular job and actually wouldn't want to be Melissa, honest!! But her DVD sure makes out that her life is great and that's what makes it a great DVD to watch. When you get DVDs made about you, you know you've made it ;-)

At the 8th - Par 3

And it actually wasn't a bad shot, if I do say so myself! Landed on the green but rolled off again and stopped 1 metre infront of the bunker. Hit Par on this hole but overall I shot a round 5 over my handicap. Not bad though considering I'm out of practice and haven't played for 5 months!
